Leigh Rigozzi is an artist based in Hobart, Tasmania. He draws comics, makes objects, mentors artists, publishes zines, facilitates workshops and exhibits work in various galleries.
Leigh is interested in wordplay, the meaning of language and images. He endeavours to find optimism and a moral position in a bafflingly complex cultural landscape.
He’s also interested in grass roots production and distribution of objects ranging from the practical to the esoteric. Some of these things might include: inks, lo-fi printmaking techniques, bookmaking, animation and curation.
Leigh is available for commissions, illustration work, graphic recording, and workshops. There are some examples of his publications and original artwork available for sale on this website.
